Wigan's MarketGate shopping centre is a huge Postmodern shopping centre including an indoor market. Like a lot of shopping centres from the same era, the centre is only partially enclosed, the rest is a pastiche of a traditional town square and like the facade shown here, only makes a half hearted attempt to blend in with the surrounding buildings.
